CrownRock Minerals is a Midland-based company, led by Midland natives.
We have a long history of developing oilfields and buying minerals and royalties in our home counties in the Permian Basin.
CrownRock Minerals is the minerals buying effort of CrownQuest Operating, LLC. CrownQuest, through its CrownRock E&P arm, is developing a 100,000 acre position in the Midland Basin that produces from nearly a thousand wells. Both CrownRock and CrownRock Minerals are part of a decade-long partnership between CrownQuest and Lime Rock Partners, a leading energy-focused private equity firm.
We and our predecessor entities have been buying mineral rights and royalties in the Permian Basin for over 30 years and have been operating our own E&P company for 21 years. We have bought mineral and royalty interests from families throughout the area. These sellers can discuss how we operate and helped them achieve their goals in selling mineral rights.
